The Internet does not have an access to Happiness
"Autumn is the hardest season. The leaves are falling and they're falling like they're falling in love with the ground"
Andrea Gibson
Most people feel ecstatic and delighted with a defolation, other feel depressed and frustrated, because the nature slowly dies.
Mind you, there are some persons, who aren't able neither cheer up nor upset with something. They're always staying at home and are as quite as a mice.
Octon wasn't an exception. All his time he spent sitting at the laptop. He lost his temper when mother or sister demanded to leave it up. The laptop was his sense of elation.
By watching funny videos he reduced his stress; by listening to calm melodies he became relaxed. Octon also was brilliant at playing computer games. A lot of wins made him as proud as a peacock. By any large, if it's possible to talk about relationships between a computer and a human, these two were in love.
One day, there was a problem: the Internet was inaccessible. Octon turned appalled! He had a red face and sweaty palms. It seemed like an apocalypse. Octon was hysterical.
'Calm down!' - was begging his a sister.
Without saying a word Octon went to look out for a free Wi-Fi networks. Virtual life had a great impact on him.
Walking through a parc with his laptop he unintentionally bumped into a girl. Her name was Octobrice. She amused herself by collecting leaves and dividing them according to shades. If Octon's laptop had feelings, he would become jealous of him. It was love at first sight.

Body language. A way my groupmates speak it
When you are in a live-action movie, you have so many more options to express yourself. You can use your body and your gestures. When you are doing an animated movie, you really only have your voice.
Jesse Eisenberg
Every day you observe people's behaviour. It is accompanied by different combinations of movements. What do they mean? Let's make it clear to avoid a misinterpretation.
My group consists of students who are as different as chalk and cheese. They all have individual tempers and display their feelings in many ways. I tried to look out for these ways.
Yaroslava is a confident girl, who always keeps eye contact.
She's ambitious and this proverb ideally reflects her lifestyle: Practice makes perfect.
Hanna is the most contrast personality in our group.
I've noticed that she often pulls her hair when she is impressed by something. One of her bad habits is biting nails while worrying. But her good qualities compensate it. She's never out of sight, out of mind. Live and let live - that's her motto, I suppose.
Olga is a kind of a girl who always has her head in the clouds. When suddenly someone lowers her down she goes red. It's not necessarily that she's angry. It means that she dissatisfied with coming back to reality.
Olena's body language is almost silent. It's hard for me to distinguish some particular gestures she often uses. When she's shocked she raises her eyebrow. While Olena is thinking about something she scratches behind the ear. In the future I will be more observant, because "the more the merrier":)
Julia is full of beans. While talking she uses excessive hand gestures. In any case, they only make her "speech" more colourful.
Regarding to me. As a matter of fact, I use a wide range of gestures, especially hand ones. But I never notice it. Everything happens subconsciously. When I'm worried I have sweaty palms, during the presence of a person I like, my cheeks go red.
In any case, it's impossible to express our feelings without gestures. As I was saying, they make our body language more eloquent. Open up and speak your mind! ;)

Vocabulary Sci-Fi
It's a pity, but humanity still doesn't have a possibility to send e-mail or fax messages to the past or future. Humanity doesn't, but I do:) Imagination has no borders!
I'm sure that everyone wants to come into contact with people who lived earlier. Even more: it's not only to communicate with somebody, but to shake hands with Bon Jovi, for example, or wave at Michael Jackson etc. I'm pleased with achievements of our science but it doesn't provide us with such an opportunity.
Being a phililogist, I'd like to share my experiance in learning English. Maybe, in coming years we'll have an invention that allows us to have a meetings with past generations, but now it doesn't exist. So let's talk business.
You know that a foreign language opens a window through which we're able to see the whole world. Logically that everyone tries to simplify a learning process. 20-30 years ago it was harder to make something easier. People were uncertain in regard to efective ways of studying. But not now.
The Internet is accessible. It allows us to reach our knowledge and to develop speaking, listening and other language skills. Except books and heavy dictionaries there are more pleasant ways of learning.
If you want to bring a diversity into the process, open these web-sites:
www.thefreedictionary.com
www.grapwords.com
www.fraze.it
Be certain, resources will be helpful. You won't be disappointed:
- create a word-clouds;
- observe different collocations;
- find examples in the field you're interested in;
- use associations;
And as a result - memorize successfully!
Do everything properly and soon no one could tell the difference between a native speaker and you ;)
FRAZE.IT:
Thanks to other high-profile rabbis, such as Capers Funnye, the African-American
leader of Chicago's Beth Shalom B'Nei Zaken synagogue — and First Lady Michelle
Obama's second cousin — mainstream American Jewry appears ready to embrace leaders like Stanton. And
with African Americans becoming increasingly
drawn to Judaism, in part because of the shrinking perception that they are not welcomed by white Jews, the
IJCR's Tobin say the timing could not be better for American Jewry to finally
reconsider who and what makes a Jew. "Due to assimilation and
intermarriage, the stability of the American Jewish community has never been
more vulnerable," she says.
"If we are to survive we must become more welcoming to people and not just
send them away."

A tale of two dictionaries
Once upon a
time there were two dictionaries. One was a girl
named Oxford and a boy called Longman. Nobody knew their originated. Oxford was thin
and had a medium height so she never heard a
strong criticism in regard to her figure. Longman suffered from overweight and it was
his main concern. A poor boy was
almost alone and defenceless. Finding any friends was a considerable difficulty for him. Longman’s sorrows were indescribable.
A dusty student’s
bookshelf was like a house for them. There always ruled an utter chaos and mess. In such kind of circumstances called “philological apocalypse” it was impossible
for them to meet each other. Their lives seemed to be uneventful but the occurrence changed everything.
It happened
once in a blue moon, but the student of college of Romance and Germanic languages
had a free time. He decided to do out because the mess was a real eyesore for him. All useless things that
occupied a space were cleaned from
the bookshelf. And then Oxford and
Longman found themselves face to face.
It was love at first definition. They had too much in common, especially
26 letters of the alphabet.
Time
passed. Oxford assured herself that she
would never meet anyone better than Longman was. They was standing on the bookshelf
long and happily. They always were
together: in singular and plural, in
males and females, in sessions and weekdays until a dictionary called “Frenchman”
appeared. He separated them.
It was severe
for Longman. A poor boy‘s life turned
into pointless existence. Oxford like every woman loved with her ears. Longman’s reach inner world didn’t satisfy
her. She preferred an emotive “Frenchmen”.
Not every
tale has a happy end.
Morality:
Once in a while be interested in lives of your dictionaries. Maybe, even now
they need your support.

My 1st Vocabulary Class
EXPECTATIONS VS. REALITY
It's a classic example of all students to create potential pictures of everything they are going to do for the first time.
If your thoughts about the lesson are based on words that other mates say, visiting a class will be your main concern. An utter chaos will rule by your head or vice versa you will be ready to deify an istructor. Remember that all minds are subjective and you don't have to take offense at it. People always give more criticism than approval.
When I saw our schedule, it was a real eyesore and I almost burst into tears. The reason is that there were too many subjects. Again, these mates said that it would be much easier to study on the 2nd course. Ha-ha. But it's okey, I'm still alive :-)
In regard to my first vocabulary class. It didn't seem to me as a considerable difficulty, but I realized that I would put a real effort in it because there are too many words and very little time.
When the lesson began, the teacher made it clear that all our expectations which relate to an infinite and boring writing of new words would "go to hell" ("3 DAYS GRACE" song). The instructor held us reponsible for making blogs where we would clarify different topics. We reached an agreement of learning process. Fortunately, no one had to settle a dispute belong to hometasks etc.
Be hard-working and you will never take the blame for results of your laziness. Never back down, because without an asking there is no understanding. And yours "I will do no such thing" leave behind you. Die down the noise caused by torrential rains of doubts and gale force winds of carelessness. Catch fire with a desire instead ;-)
